I alternate between my sewing and my knitting. The sewing takes a lot of mind power because that's where I make my statements, and because I'm having to figure out the appropriate contraction and process for each project. The knitting is for when I need something to do, but I've got no power -- I let someone else do the heavy lifting (writing the pattern) and I just go with the flow.Kristin Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05955546754675680404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5872694151254325663.post-12769305630454839722014-03-20T22:46:59.412-04:002014-03-20T22:46:59.412-04:00Dee, I find myself thinking I'm "entitled...Dee, I find myself thinking I'm "entitled" to smooth sailing because I've handled x, y, and z already. My mother is teaching me just how silly my thinking has been. But I'm still gonna have the best time I possibly can with this life of mine!Karodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12659789966973636488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5872694151254325663.post-14351220128548068772014-03-20T22:37:09.312-04:002014-03-20T22:37:09.312-04:00hehehe, Carol, you know the saying about idle hand...hehehe, Carol, you know the saying about idle hands ;)Karodahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12659789966973636488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5872694151254325663.post-47567712448770365132014-03-20T09:38:27.938-04:002014-03-20T09:38:27.938-04:00I look forward to what you have to say. Pacing with creative endeavor is tricky, I've found (I have a disabled sister and two boys - one in college, one a senior), partly b/c caring can be invisible. I need this reminder about LOVE, too!

I've been meaning to re-read Beloved for quite some time, and the profound place it left you inspires me to do so sooner rather than later.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5872694151254325663.post-6279313115815490332014-03-19T15:56:19.562-04:002014-03-19T15:56:19.562-04:00Isn't it just amazing how we start out working...Isn't it just amazing how we start out working on some craft, and then find that we have let our hoarding tendencies take over again. I have been painting art journals and pulled out all my art suppplies after buying some things I thought I needed and find I had already accumulated a bit stash in this area too. One thing for sure is that we are not idle.Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15721028190808321535noreply@blogger.com
