This is what I was doing last (the same fabric, 3 layers) in the studio before Thanksgiving, followed by pneumonia and a short stay in the hospital. My lungs are not quite clear but I'm feeling well, but going just a little bit stir crazy. The grandkids have been here and the Beloved is on vacay and with the touch of a click, holiday shopping is over. Hey! just writing this out and I'm getting perked up! This week the only major endeavor I'm facing is grocery shopping for Christmas dinner. Grocery shopping around the holidays is my coal mine. I've got a list, I'm on a mission, I'm going in...thats the mental fortitude needed to get this task accomplished. And you know its bad when drivers with disabilities are fighting over parking spaces!
Peace,
So glad y are home with yr peeps! Stay well...
ReplyDeleteIt is good to see you back. Just remember Christmas is but one day and you still have the rest of your life to look forward to. Take it easy and don't be so adamant about getting "EVERYTHING" you think you need for this one day. Your health is more important. You are not as old as I am and I realized a few years ago that it is not worth the hassle to go mad at this time of the year for "ONE DAY", and then die the next day.
ReplyDeleteYour fabric looks really interesting (in a good way!). The scribbly layer is especially cool. Good luck with the shopping -- I feel the same way about grocery shopping but I don't have the option of a good parking space.
ReplyDeleteI really like these fabrics. I always think black, white, and red are really bold and rich looking. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you'd been sick. Glad to hear you are recovering.
Glad your feeling better and love the artwork you're showing.
ReplyDeleteKaren, if you were wondering who ",a" is it is me. I do not know how I posted that comment without my name appearing and the ",a" in its place. Just wanted you to know it was me.
