  1. Wonderful story and I can totally relate as one of five growing up on a farm. My mother was the original crafty maven and let us enjoy her stash of stuff.

  2. An interesting viewpoint, and one I agree with. Creativity is everywhere and not just in paintings, sculpture and so on. Many people don't see themselves as creative, though, and are surprised to be called that. Maybe that's a result of the society we live in.

  3. As Shirley said, creativity is not limited to a particular field and those who celebrate life by being creative in every aspect are lessons to us all. Frank's mother was able to turn almost everything into an creative event - what an inspiring talent. Best of all, her son recognizes her gift and has applied it to his own life.
