Aunt Margareed's Work

here is the edge of a table runner and some unfinished quilt blocks in a star and grandmother's flower garden pattern.  i have 12 of the stars and they measure about 36 inches across. i suspect she was going to make one for each of her brothers and sisters.  i really would love to use them in a really unique buy recognizable way. i saw one of Penny Sisto's quilts (see the links to the right) hanging at New Directions and she had used a traditional star in the background with one of her signature spirit women on the top. I'm not nearly ready to do anything with them beyond collecting ideas at this point. 



Looking at these photos, I really need to find a good intro book on digital photography.
